Just this afternoon, I checked my ResearchGate account and was so surprised by this congratulatory notification! My research items got 10,090 reads! Accordingly, a ‘read’ is counted each time someone views a publication summary (such as the title, abstract, and list of authors), clicks on a figure, or views or downloads the full text.
I would describe my activities in ResearchGate as semi-active ^_^ because I only visit the site whenever I have new publications and if there are Survey Questionnaires I need to find.
I like the platform. I even recommend it to my students as budding researchers. I invite them to create their free accounts. It is a good site to start their research journey, browsing publications from various journals and from various authors in different disciplines.
In my next posts, I will be writing more about my journey with ResearchGate, how I am utilizing it to expand my research circle, and, of course, how I use it to improve my collection of related literature. This post is to express how grateful I am for this simple accomplishment ^_^
How about you? You can leave your profile link below in ResearchGate and let me also read your publications. I would be very happy to read and learn from your work ^_^
