I am happy that I was able to finish lots of tasks today. Work onsite was canceled because of the flood, but the bad and bed weather did not stop me from getting some pending tasks done.
After finishing my long overdue tasks for the narrative and terminal reports of USWAG TRIBO, I realized that I did not do much this year as Project Leader and Coordinator.
I failed on that part, but I am still happy that I could deliver some of my responsibilities. Indeed, I had so many shortcomings last year.
I should get back STRONGER and be more PRODUCTIVE this year.
Amazingly, I was able to check 23 manuscripts. I checked the problem they wish to address, the gap they wish to fill in, the RQs they will use in exploring their domain/s of interest, the theoretical lens and appropriateness of the design they will operate, and the tool to utilize.
I was so disappointed with one output that I reprimanded the students for submitting a trash manuscript. Though I already gave them the conditions on how they can enter my class next week with a revised paper, I also reflected on what I can do to help them craft a paper. We already had consultations, but I think they are not getting it.
I know it is my job to guide them. But of course, they should meet with me halfway through this journey.
