How to Tune Your Guitar Just By Using Your iPhone App

This is something I just learned today when my friend-colleague visited me in my boarding house. Ma’am Kring came with her boyfriend Rafael.

Playing guitar is my way of releasing stress. However, it is always stressful on my part if my guitar strings are out of tune. I just don’t know how to fix them.

Fortunately, Rafael introduced me this iPhone App (Guitar Tuna) that can make tuning fast and easy. This app is also available for Android users.

There is no need to have an account on this and yes, it is FREE. All you have to do is DOWNLOAD the app to your phone and choose what type of string instrument you are going to tune.

Get your guitar and play every string. The device will now capture the sound and the app will give a signal if the string is already tuned.

A green line indicates that the 6th string is already tuned.

Do these steps for all strings and you are good to go!

    You can even wirelessly share with someone near you using AirDrop. Or save them as custom ringtones so whenever somebody calls, your song rocks. And with built-in support for iOS 14 and the Files app, you have even more project-sharing options through third-party developers. Using third-party external musical instruments with GarageBand requires devices made for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
