Our eyes always meet,

but I know you won’t admit

that I caught you once staring

and it was awkward.

There’s something about your stare

that ignites the fire in me

and it’s sad that you don’t bother

to stare a little longer

until our hearts bind

and agree to make a step further

to give it a try.

You are coward to run from this

you denied my love like it did not exist

or was it I who can’t accept

that all those things

don’t mean anything to you.

It was not love

because it is never love that you felt

but just a friendly glance

which anytime could melt.

It was me who denied reality,
